I hold a Bachelor's in Engineering Physics and a Master's in Mathematics & Computing from MIT (Boston, USA). Along the way, I also studied accounting and econometrics — giving me a strong mix of analytical thinking and real-world problem-solving.
Over the past two years, I've tutored 50+ high school and university studentsin Switzerland. I know the Swiss Gymnasium system inside out, and I'm equally comfortable with IB, A-Levels, and AP curricula. I always adapt my teaching to each student's level, pace, and goals.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you teach online or in-person?
Both! I offer online sessions via Zoom for students anywhere in Switzerland, and in-person sessions in Basel. Online works just as well — I use a digital whiteboard and screen sharing. About 70% of my students are fully online.
Which curricula do you cover?
IB (SL & HL), Swiss Matura, Gymnasium, A-Levels, AP, and IGCSE. I adapt to your child's specific school and syllabus. Having taught students across multiple international systems, I know exactly where the gaps usually appear.
How quickly will my child see improvement?
Most students see measurable grade improvement within 4-6 sessions. I focus on building understanding, not just memorizing procedures. Once a student truly 'gets' a concept, the improvement is permanent.
What's your cancellation policy?
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the session. Late cancellations are charged at 50%. I understand schedules can be hectic — flexibility is part of the service.
Do you offer group sessions?
Yes! Small group sessions (3-5 students) are available at CHF 40/student/hour. Great for exam prep with classmates or friends who are working on the same material.
Can I get an invoice for tax purposes?
Absolutely. All sessions are properly invoiced. Tutoring expenses may be tax-deductible in Switzerland — check with your accountant.
My child is too shy to ask questions in class. Will they open up?
This is one of the most common things I hear from parents. In 1-on-1 sessions, there's no judgment and no pressure. Students who never raise their hand in class end up debating physics problems with me after a few sessions. It's a safe space to make mistakes and learn from them.
